Equine Insurance
Equine insurance is not just for “the expensive horse” anymore. There are two types of insurance available to the horse owner:
Mortality - covers the horse in case of death of the animal
Major Medical - covers the cost of catastrophic illness, injury, or surgery
up to $7500.00. There is usually a deductible associated with this insurance
and it varies. It is relatively inexpensive and costs approximately $250.00
per year.
We are lucky at Akin Equine, in that Camille Akin is able to provide
